The Club currently has about 3,700 members, of whom approximately 1,000 are based overseas. They range from undergraduates and recent graduates to those who matriculated before World War II. HRH The Duke of Edinburgh (Chancellor of Cambridge University), Lord Patten (Chancellor of Oxford University) and the two Vice Chancellors are honorary members, as are most Heads of Houses. Other honorary members include HRH the Prince of Wales, HRH Queen Margarethe II of Denmark and HRH Prince Philippe of the Belgians.
